Urethane tires for my Mastercraft bandsaw.
This pair of blue urethane tires arrived promptly in perfect condition with instructions and the little dowel tool needed to install the tires. The instructions were not clear and I thought at first that I would never be able to get them on my bandsaw because they seemed to be too small! So I went online and saw several videos on YouTube which described how to put these tires on. I did what was described and succeeded in getting them on with some huffing and puffing. I only had to remove the top wheel. I used my bench vise and two clamps on the wheel. I heated the urethane up in hot water (140 degrees) and used the little dowel tool to get the tire on the wheel. I was able to put the second tire on the lower wheel without taking the wheel off the saw. To be fair, the urethane tires themselves are excellent quality and merit 5 stars but the poor installation instructions that came with them almost made me give up and send them back until I saw how other people dealt with the tricky installation process. In the end, I am very pleased with the results and my bandsaw is now fixed and running like new again. Better the $50 for the new tires than $250 for a new bandsaw!

Dust cover for my 61 keyboard
This dust cover is exactly as described. It fits loosely over the keyboard and keeps the dust off!

Siphon feed Talon airbrush is easy to use and works well.
I am new to airbrushing and recently bought a small 1/5th hp compressor that came with two airbrushes - a double action, gravity feed type and a small single action, siphon feed type. I had some trouble with the siphon feed one as the little plastic O ring inside the hose cap kept blocking the airflow so I decided to by the paasche Talon.
The Talon is much higher quality compared to the two that came with the compressor. The manual was adequate but I learned much more from online videos about how to use and clean it.
I hit a major problem at first when the connector screw cap on the air hose than came with the Talon was too big to screw onto the compressor nipple! What to do? I found an adapter in the compressor kit but had to cut off the large screw cap of the Talon hose and insert the adapter into the hose clamping it with a plastic covered wire tie. This allowed me to screw the air hose onto the compressor and the Talon airbrush then worked properly.
I tried the two different tips that came with it and liked the second one which gives a slightly smaller radius, less dense spray which I preferred for the maple I am tinting with water based dye stains on an upright electric bass I am making. I like the result of the airbrush compared to a foam brush to apply the stain evenly and with more control so I am pleased with the Talon siphon feed model.
I would have preferred the Talon kit to have included glass feed jars instead of the white plastic ones. Glass cleans better and the level of fluid is more visible in it.
