not good if not willing to work at it
1 of 1 found this helpful to make it work with long feathers one must experiment to find a technique that works. for me it was to use two hands to push feather down to shaft so that the super glue on feather makes good contact with shaft , all the while holding close to hot air blower for one minute....the skinnier the shaft the harder to make good contact....

works ok when front and back are adjusted to get good contact with shaft

best return for the money any clarinetist couled make
why anyone would spend 10 to 30 times as much for expensive cloth and strange metal contraptions is beyond my comprehension.....this little plastic piece actually does a better job...IMHO
