A remake that works well
I don't watch many remakes, especially remakes of Melville films. But this is an exception. I still prefer the original but can recommend this film.
Daniel Auteuil is good, as always. Eric Cantona makes an impact too.

Good product, reliably delivered at a good price
Little to add to the title. A well-made product, designed for a suitable purpose, delivered promptly at a good price.

Excellent Icelandic noir.
Excellent and relatively rare film from Iceland. I bought it after reading the novel on which it is based. The film departs from the book, but not in a bad way.
