Disappointing
The two parts of my rack are bowed a little so that they fit together like two spoons.
The effect of this is that the bread is similarly bowed and, on one side, part of the bread is in very close contact with the hot plate but when the rack is turned over the bread is further from the hot surface. The bread will therefore burn readily on the close side but toast slowly on the other side.
