A Total Classic - with a story that still holds to today.
It's a classic! Original talking version of the film. The classic story of how to make it in Hollywood, or in any business. 'It's who you know not what you know'. As we see the characters in different stages of their careers, one on the way up and it's effects. (Without any spilers.) Filmed in colour (only the big pictures at the time were filmed in colour) and great performances. Totally recommend it, especially wanting a look into the industry.

Bought as a present as we were discussin Film Noir. However this is an engaging film with some Classic screen actors, Anne Blyth and the famous Joan Crawford who also won an academy award for it. Inspiratinal story of a waitress that worked her way up to own the whole business set against the back drop of a murder! Classic!!!
