3 of 3 found this helpful this is my first premium AVR, having owned a beginner then an intermediate AVR prior. the SR6014 makes my existing 5.1.2 system really come alive, powerful and clean! setup was a breeze. i'm actually pretty satisfied with initial Audyssey calibration but may invest in the app if i upgrade speakers. unfortunately, i do have a hiccup with passing 4K HDR video through it from the Apple TV4K, PS4 Pro, and UHD Blu-ray player, which appears to be an EDID "handshaking" issue where Marantz support said an EDID emulator might be needed. while i have certified 4K HDR HDMI cables and have tried using a name-brand's 8K HDR HDMI cables without success, i plan to try other cables, which will come out less than an EDID emulator. somewhat upsetting given the SR6014's pricepoint...

perfect replacement
bought this to replace a cracked cased during shipping. i did have to trim the Blu-ray's sleeve a bit on the sides to get it to fit inside this case's cover. no biggie.

OMG Wow!
7 of 7 found this helpful this QLED replaced a Pioneer 50" plasma in a bright room with 4 large windows. the brightness on this can't be touched! the antiglare glass makes a difference, too. i only made very few settings changes (more for personal preference) as its performance out of the box is stellar. setup was easy after connecting components to the OneConnect box and turning on the system. this handles 1080p content amazingly. HDR can be overdone, though. i can't review 4K since i don't have content at this time. i mounted this on the wall using the OEM no-gap mount, and it looks great. i'm impressed at how much the minimalist One Remote can accomplish. my 9-year-old picked it up and navigated Netflix and FiOS TV fairly easily. the hype is real!
