  The box was very sturdy and the shipper made a good effort to stabilize the lamp in the box. Shipping to AK can be tricky, so at some point it must have been jostled because the lamp socket attachment was bent. This isn’t an issue as I intend to re-wire the piece and replace this component. This is a gorgeous piece, the wood is as described, and I’m happy to add to my collection.
