Quite difficult to put together my 11 year old grandson needed help
Great looking model but very fiddly to put together, one of the main hinges that connects the legs was broken so my grandson was pretty upset on his birthday that we could not fully complete the Mantis! I went on the website and as far as I could tell ordered parts to replace the broken one and was told they would send a confirmation e-mail but a week on and nothing - not very impressed. To me this is great for older children but more of a model than a toy to play with.

A little extra security
I have had some of these before from ERA they are relatively inexpensive and easy to fit, I bought the ERA ones again but found they did not seem as well built as the previous ones, one of the door plates came loose from the cylinder during installation. It was not easy to fix but if the barrel is not securely fixed I assume it could move in the door and lock you in /out . Anyway now fixed and in conjunction with the main lock give added security. You do need a bit of DIY skill to fit but well worth it.

Great replacement
Our boiler tap had a pressure regulator fitted which started to leak, found this one at a good competitive price so went ahead and ordered it. The unit arrived quickly and although it appeared to be robust and well made unfortunately the gauge clear cover was cracked presumably in transit (otherwise it would have got 5 stars) however it is only cosmetic and as the unit is in the cupboard under the sink hardly ever seen. Although a different make the unit was identical in size and layout to my original so turned off the water and found it was easy to fit but you do need PTFE tape and a bit of plumbing/DIY knowledge -it has been working well ever since.
