Does exactly what you need it to do!
This 2.5in IDE enclosure does exactly what you need it to do with no extra steps or software. Just connect the 2.5in IDE drive to it and connect to usb port. Job done! Looks cool with it's sleek black enclosure and feels good. Perfect for old IDE Laptop drives. A+

Absolutely stinking of fish
1 of 1 found this helpful This unit is absolutely stinking. Got delivered in a brown box and the delivery driver commented on the smell. I thought ok it must be the box. So I've unboxed all the parts and started to build it. The box and the unit was stinking of what only can be described as fish. My hands and clothes by the time I was finished were stinking of fish. My house was smelling like fish still a week after being built. The unit itself still smells even after cleaning it well. Had some discoloration to back panels and the odd scuff here and there. From a distance the unit serves its purpose. But just can't get over the smell of the thing.
**Update.
Unit is still stinking. I've cleaned it multiple times and it is still smelling awful. When I say smelling awful I don't just mean when you sniff it. I mean it makes the room smell terrible. I think I'm going to have to throw it out.
