The Complete Guide to Sharpening by Leonard Lee (1995)
This has to be the very best book on sharpening ever written! The book explains in depth the physics of shearing wood and then how to sharpen a myriad of chisels, plane blades, axes, you name it. A very in depth book which covers all aspects of sharpening. The author also sprinkles humor throughout the book to make it a very interesting book to read. If you enjoy woodworking you have to love this book.

concerns the changing environment
A wonderful book by a man who saw nature in a wonderful light and addressed the harm man has inflicted on our environment. Should be required reading for all students of natural resources.
