Timeless inspiration. A classic collection!
You would never believe that the music of Joy Division has been with us for so long. The tunes do not age. The inspiration is still there. I lost my record player some time ago and have waited far too long to get these tunes back in my collection. Don't leave it so long before adding them to yours! Great!

Radio Birdman 1974-1978
This is s superb collection of the best of Radio Birdman 1974-1978. I saw the band in 1978 and although I have continued to play the Radios Appear LP this is my first CD of their music. It's still hard to believe that they were one of the earliest New Wave bands to perform sounds of such a high standard. The bands that influenced them were still around while Radio Birdman were proving their worth. Although short lived as a band the power in 'New Race' gives us an example of their commitment yet the guitar work on all tracks does not sound dated in any way. If you enjoy Dylan, The Doors, New Yok Dolls or The Ramones, you'll love this collection of true quality tunes. This will stay in my CD player for a very long time. cheers newport_jack

Unique, full reference of Punk for beginners and those who were there.
A fantastic item for the music library. If you were there in the late 70s then you can relate to the artists illustrated and featured in the full text. If you weren't there then this compendium gives a good feel for the era in black and white, which accentuates the grim and depressed times. There may well be omissions, but not record of an part of lives is complete, whether our own memories or someone elses. If I had to recommend just one book for images alone, it would be this one. The book measures in at 12" x 12" and fits nicely alongside my vinyl. I am sure you won't be disappointed.
