The only compilation you will need
The perfect intro to the classic two 1970s New York Dolls albums withe the whole of the first album bar one track, six of the best tracks from the second album and three rarities from the second album sessions /Demos. For the price generally you would pay for the first album on CD it's a no brainer and gives you the best of this highly influential group. Get yourself acquainted with this highly influential grip who were derided in their day for their rawness but which has turned out to be timeless with some great songs that you can now hear in TV adverts, a sign that they have been absorbed into the DNA of.wider culture.

Influential jukebox selection that inspired punk
While no one will argue that Malcolm McClaren and Vivienne Westwood were musical historians who ever put together the juke box in Sex their shop had good taste and the selections helped influence many of the prime movers of punk including members of the Sex Pistols, the Clash and Adam and the Ants. Also Johnny Rotten had his audition for the Pistols in the shop miming to the Alice Cooper track included on the jukebox.
The cd is essential for anyone interested in some of the influences to the early punk scene but is also a very fine compilation of music in its own right that can be filed alongside The Let it Rock Camden store compilation and Jon Savage's excellent compilations covering the years 1968-71 and 1972-75 for those wanting to get a feel for eras when music really mattered to people.

Excellent Cam Utd nostalgia
For dedicated Cam Utd fans and this is a must as it chronicles from eyewitnesses the very important and memorable matches over the years as well as giving a summary of how United were doing in the particular season. Highly recommended.
