Disappointing. Cheap but not cheap
This was a very disppointing purchase. I was replacing a couple of bits of trim in my E46, and this seemed like a great idea to replave a pretty grotty rear ashtray. But it made of cheap, tacky, very lightweight plastic. The concept is good, design is good, it looks ok till you touch it, but the construction is, as far as I'm concerned, just cheap and nasty. Not recommended.
NB The other pieces of trim I bought from this supplier (drinks and coin tray) are just fine.

Good quality, good value, well respected product, and with good reason
Very easy to operate, and has a great array of accessories (most of which I probably won't use, but you never know). Handy case to keep everything in one bundle. I've spent several days tracking down vacuum leaks in an old Mercedes, which has many systems based on vacuum control, and would have had no hope without this gadget.
I bought it based on it's great reputation, and haven't been disappointed

Forget WD40 and use this stuff
Found this some years ago for motorbike protection, and have used it ever since. Works a treat.
