Brilliant little device! I now have one in each vehicle and they are strong enough to hold even something as heavy as a big old tomtom..
You use double sided tape to fix a metal plate to -in one instance- your clunky old sat nav, and the strong magnet in this clever device holds it at whatever angle you choose! Equally easy to place a metal disc inside your mobile cover!

Okay but...
...when built, it is quite flimsy and needs strengthening. Annoyingly it is too narrow for my old tender driven locos to fit in comfortably. So whilst it is ok its not great.
