Whisper Quiet

I fitted two of these fans to my PC. When I turned the PC on, I genuinely thought the fans weren't working. They were working perfectly, just far more quietly than the old ones.

Poorly designed; flickers with a dimmer,

This product is advertised as Dimmable, and when used with a dimmer they do indeed reduce their output somewhat as the dimmer is turned down. However, they only does so over a limited range of brightness from about 50% to 95% brightness. Unlike a normal bulb, the brightness won't dim any lower than about 50%. The biggest problem is that at 100% brightness on the dimmer, these bulbs start flickering madly which will quickly give you a headache. You have to then turn them down by 5% to make the light output stable again. They are a poor design, and I cannot recommend them. (I have dimmable LEDs lamps from other brands that work perfectly with this dimmer, so it is not the fault of the dimmer.)

Comfy and effective

The matting is robust, comfy to walk on, and stops the cold from the concrete floor from chilling my feet. It works well as anti-fatigue matting, allowing me to stand in the workshop for longer. The holes in the matting make it easy to lift up and sweep away the swarf that falls from my milling machine.
