Good price, well featured.

Well priced entry level weather station which can be monitored using a PC. I have mine plugged into a raspberry pi running ubuntu 20 with the weewx weather app as I don't run windows - you don't need anything powerful. If you want to put this home weather station on the internet, you can view the current readings and history using weathercloud.net for free as this station is one of the supported ones. Not the world's best weather station as you can pay £100's for a top of the range one, but for less than £100 this does most of the things you might want to do. The sensors are on a pole above the garage roof and the receiver is in the living room. Contrary to the description the new version does not come with a stub mast. Any metal pole will suffice so not a problem I had some issues with the radio signal to begin with, but after moving the receiver up the wall 0.5m meter it is now all working fine. Recommended.

Good value

Bought this to provide lights and some power to garden shed. The item arrived very quickly (24 hours) and in perfect condition. The PV panel is well constructed and seems to work well. It came with MC4 terminated cables and Z brackets which was all that was required to install the panel on the roof and wire it to the controller. The controller is a low cost PWM type but nevertheless seems well made. It has an LCD screen which is very handy to see all the settings and the power in/out values and also has a handy usb output to charge phones/tablet etc. The only minor issue was the battery cables which came with no maximum load markings and flimsy ring terminals. I replaced these with some high quality 100A battery cables for about £10. Obviously you need to buy a 12V battery separately, some 12V appliances,cables, switches and also some fuses to make it safe. Overall a good quality piece of kit and good value for money and I would recommend it.

Decent polytunnel at good price

The 3mx2m polytunnel was delivered amazingly quickly (within 2 days of order). Good quality steel tubes and strong cover. What I liked was the fact that there is a door at each end as well as side ventilation which is much better than the usual single door. Only minor fault is that the only instructions was a sheet of paper with a diagram of the frame. However there are plenty of good instructions on www (eg on youtube) for similar items so not a big issue. I added some stakes cable tied to uprights for extra strength/ wind resistance. The bars are numbered so you can relate them to frame diagram. So far so good and I am quite satisfied with product.
