I have been very dissapointed with this saw. Ok, it is only £120 or so, but I should have known better and spent the extra money on Makita, which I would advise you to do as well.
Here's what I have found to be wrong.
It's not accurate. There is too much wiggle when setting the fixed mitre angles, so it's never quite right. Bit like the American colour standard - NTSC - Never Twice the Same Cut. This is my main complaint. And the angle guide for bevel cuts is much too small and hard to see - very difficult to set up correctly.
The dust bag is useless, doesn't collect anything, so it's very messy.
The laser is almost but not quite right, so it really doesn't help.
The clamps are next to useless. For a 45 degree bevel cut the clamp gets in the way.
The platform is too small, so it's fiddly to set up larger bits of wood.
Hard wood, like oak, can splinter with the supplied blade.
So, I guess it's OK if you do just want something quick and cheap, but if you actually want to cut an accurate mitre or bevel, then spend more money.

Lovely
Works really well in my firefly laser display! Not quite the right size for a drop in replacement, but fitted fine in the end.
