DeLonghi BAR 14 Espresso Machine

Its a bit like a mini version of one of the machines in a coffee shop. Makes good coffee, very easy to use. Only suitable for one person because it doesnt generate much steam before it has to reheat, so making cappuccino for 2 takes ages, but then it is so small and compact there is a trade off between usefulness and space on the worktop. Doesnt have a hotplate with a jug but I havent ever had a cappuccino that wasnt hot enough, because although the coffee is cooling down while you froth the milk, the milk is getting hot. The other niggle is the frother nozzle has to be unscrewed and washed every time together with the pipe requiring a wipe, but cleaning all other bits is quick. I'm happy with it, would buy the same model again

Handy Key Ring Light brushed metal case

Nice tactile feel, its about the size of a Yale or nightlatch type key. Quality little rubber on off button, 1st press is half bright, second press is full bright, its perfect for dimli lit paths, finding the keyhole in the dark. Recharges quickly which would indicate a small battery so it won't last very long, but then its not the sort of long life torch for walking on a long dark path.

Its a fun novelty mp3 player, the buttons work well, it plugs into a usb port and shows up as a flash drive memory stick so you can drag and drop mp3's onto it. Sat on a shelf or in a drawer nobody would ever know it is an mp3 player. Better in ear headphones improve the sound, the white headphones that come with mp3 players are always lacking in bass and never sound good.
