Replacement part, weakest element of the very good Kenwood chopper system
The Kenwood blender is a great tool, one of the best and most powerful we've used. Ours sees intensive use and we find the geared lid assembly is the weakest element of the system (this is the fourth one I've bought for two Kenwood sets). With regular use it tends to need replacing every 12 months. Good if the socket where the blade fits into were made of a more resistant material as this is where all the wear takes place.
