Seeds germinated very well, thank you for the great instructions
4 of 4 found this helpful So far I have only tried five seeds and three of these have germinated. This only took a week or so and the three bamboo plants are currently around 6 inches tall (Today is the 4th July 2018 and the seeds only arrived on the 6th June 2018). I followed the instructions exactly, soaked them in boiled water for 24 hours, removed the husk, put them in paper towel in a plastic box with air holes and sat them on a heated propagator. I have the propagator set at around 30 degrees (due to other plants) but this does probably vary between 24 and 32 throughout the day. As instructed I gave them a spray of boiled water or filtered water (this is to remove the chlorine from tap water) everyday just to keep the seeds wet. Once they were 2-3 cm long I transplanted them a multipurpose compost and put them in a unheated propagator (not sure if this is necessary but I had one empty). It will be interest to see if the ten remaining seeds have the same germination rate and I will update this review (if I can) with the results.
