Oil capping

Great power control from this chip!
Faced with a Miele vacuum cleaner which had lost power, I rapidly diagnosed the problem as a faulty motor controller PCB. Unfortunately no replacment part was available, even at the exorbitant prices (£125) for similar parts. The surface mount circuit board was too difficult to trace and the ICs poorly marked, so I rolled up my sleeves, designed a circuit based on the TDA2085/6 and solved the problem! Now back to full power, the vacuum cleaner is as good as new.
