Easier to clean
I like the fact that this set of matts has the 'juke' logo in white only once, on the drivers matt.
The original ones had it 4 times on the front matts & this was the reason I had to change them.
The white lettering got so dirty they were impossible to clean.

As good as 'Saving private Ryan'
I remember seeing this series on TV and have always thought it as good if not better than 'Saving private Ryan'.
It's complete authenticity historically, is beyond reproach (equipment, uniforms, vehicles & settings)
The action sequences are really harrowing and reflect the real human cost of war. It is not jingoistic or gung ho but rather celebrates the triumph of humanity in the face of adversity.

Tiresome Tracks
This 'paper panzer' fits together very well with Amusing Hobby's usual extreme attention to detail, although how they arrived at it is questionable since only two prototype chassis' were ever produced.
Presumably they worked to the original blueprint spec.s.
The completed model is very impressive, the fact that there appears to be no exhaust for the front mounted engine is not a visible problem ( I believe it came out inside the front mudguard ).
The tracks are what lets this good kit down. They are so incredibly tiresome & finicky to assemble that I have decided not to bother and to go for an aftermarket metal alternative which will make this a more expensive kit than I intended.
