Overpriced shoddy piece of kit.
Although in the main this silicone gun seems to be very well made, there is a design problem with it, in that the round disc that pushes the silicone/glue/whatever out of the tube gets stuck and it is extremely difficult at times to extract a used tube from the gun, especially if it is adhesive you are using. I thought, when it first happened, that it was a one off, but after I "lost" my first gun, (I sealed it up behind a false wall I had built.....plonker), I went out and bought another and found the same problem. The disc seems to bend out of line and I think it is that that is causing the problem. Apart from that, it is extremely well made and has a good, smooth action and is far superior than cheaper versions but, even without the "sticking" problem, it is still a bit over priced for what it is, in my opinion. Having said that, I don't think I could go back to the cheapo guns the next time I seal it up behind a wall, Haha!
Update......Update......having used this gun for a while now, absolutely everything that could possibly go wrong with it, has gone wrong. The disc that pushes the silicone out of the tube is not strong enough and bends, the screws fixing the handle to the "tube" fell out and had to be replaced, then the nuts that hold the black plastic disc you pull on to extract the piston from the silicone tube shook themselves free in the back of the van and are now lost for ever. It just seems to need constant maintenance. Not impressed at all.

Not recommended.
0 of 1 found this helpful I don't normally leave feedback as I think one bad review can destroy someone's reputation/business, but, it strikes me that this stuff is a complete waste of money. The birds are just not interested in it. I have tried it in a hanging bird feeder and spread on a bird table and the only animals that seem to be interested in eating it are rats. I have fed wild birds for many years, using seeds and ordinary fat balls, but thought I would try this for a change. I have watched as birds skirt around it to get to other stuff. When the other food is all gone, they don't come back to eat this, they go elsewhere and this stuff is left sitting there until either the wind, rain or rats take it away. Heigh ho, you live and learn.

Thermostatic mixer.
This is the third one of these I have had to buy because they keep failing. I an stuck with this product because, to change to a different mixer manufacturer would mean re-tiling the shower/bathroom so I have to keep buying them. They seem to last about three years then either fail to mix properly, so you get a cool or very hot shower, or they become very stiff to turn, to the point where my wife coild not turn the shower on, and so I have to buy a new one.....at around £100 a shot.
