Good quality, good fit, just the fixings requiring attention. Looks great fitted...happy days :-)
1 of 1 found this helpful Very nice quality side bars with a good finish and fit. easy enough to fit. Front mounts need to have the holes tweaked to get the backing strip in but it's easy enough once you realise what is needed.
I would strongly suggest adding some large washers to the bracket as the nuts tend not to sit over the slotted holes nicely. Adding the washers would ensure a good torque is applied to safely secure to the van. For added security use a bit of thread locker and/or use the wire, supplied, to stop the nut falling off completely in the event of it loosening.
The larger bolts supplied for fixing the side bar to the brackets where too short in the kit supplied. they need to be about 10mm longer to ensure the correct thread engagement. Best fix for this would be to use stud bar with locking washers.
Instructions stated a 50 minute fit time. It took me 70 minutes including the mods i mentioned.
Apart from the fixing issues i would recommend these side bars, just don't expect a quick install without a little bit of fiddling.
