Fixed it right up.
Good price and quickly shipped. Original part from Maytag, too. Only issue is the outlet was smaller than the original part (even though this IS the correct P/N from everything I can find). I suspect they made a change to the part in the 25+ years since the original (and washing machine) was manufactured.
I was able to adapt it with a short length of tubing on the outlet, then sliding the hose & clamp over that. No leaks and water delivery is noticeably better than the previous, worn-out valve.

Smaller phone, compatible with GrapheneOS
Smaller and less cumbersome to carry. Installed GrapheneOS for privacy & security. Only negatives are those common to Pixel (no SD card storage or headphone jack).
