Upgrading a mono price strat. Why not?
I just hooked them up to a jack and tested them uninstalled while strumming a guitar. They work, and pretty clean sounding. Not too sure how powerful they are. But the price was great and they are functional. Mine were definitely wax potted, as even the mounting holes have a wax covering. Cheap pups for a cheap thrasher guitar, waddya have to lose?

So far so good.
The only question left regarding this item is longevity. So time will tell. But it puts out a sufficient amount of fog for my needs, and has been reliable to this point. The price was very good.
