A slim but amusing volume

I bought this copy of 'Rude French' second hand, to send (tongue in cheek) to an old friend in England who is intending to come and stay with us here in Provence. It's an amusing little book to browse through, with some very entertaining (though unlikely) scenarios, and is a kind of antidote to the usual phrase books. Some of the slang is a little bit dated, though still amusing. It may be that Harrap have published a new edition more recently. But if you seriously want to keep up with current French slang, you'd need to produce a new edition every year. Well worth the price for a good laugh.
