Cheap equivalent to Sony original
The remote control supplied with my ten year old Sony Bravia died after a few years. Since then I've bought a couple of Sony original replacements, which eventually started playing up too. I saw this remote control on eBay and thought it was worth a try. Althought the plastic castings don't have quite the same precision as the Sony original, the controller worked the moment I put batteries in it without any programming required. Key layout was slightly different, but sufficiently familiar not to cause me any problems working out which button to press. At the price, it seems to be a very good buy.

Ellipses hold water and get your feet wet
There's nothing wrong with the quality or manufacture of this mat - BUT, and it is a big BUT - each of the ellipses holds a little puddle of water, so if you take off a pair of muddy boots and stand on the mat, then your socks get soaked. It would be far better if the ellipses had holes all the way through so that they could drain. I wouldn't recommend buying it, except possibly for indoor use.
