A smart-remote that just does what you want
1 of 1 found this helpful I've been really impressed with the Harmony remotes. Basic design looks like a normal remote, but the programming is easy and it is highly customizable (real word?). We have a mix of technical skills in my house and they wanted just something they could point and push 1 button like "watch TV" and all the inputs and all the settings of the TV, surround sound, etc. would be taken care of. Also if anything goes wrong, press "help" and the remote resends all those settings again and asks if it worked. As a tech guy, I can also customize what each button does, put my favorite options where I want them. Does't get better.
