Inspirational, compelling and shocking
A compelling read that proved, as expected, to be both fascinating and insightful but also upsetting.
It has been a while since I have read a book of such calibre that has grabbed my attention from the outset.
This book will contribute to Mr Proctor's legacy as someone with courage, great strength and determination to set the record straight and clear the name of not just himself but other distinguished public servants.
To take on the establishment and police force who are there to serve and protect us warrants immense respect.
This publication is a good reference point for those looking into the biggest police scandal since Stephen Lawrence.
Mr Proctor sets out how the law can be changed for the good and how it should be changed: to protect true victims of sexual assault, victims of false accusations but also to ensure anonymity for those accused of sexual crimes.
Here's to a change in the law and a fairer society.
Thank you Mr Proctor and good luck.
