New Testament Commentary by Hendrikesen and Kristmaker
2 of 2 found this helpful I have many of the conservative new testament commentaries including Barnes, MacArthur, Barnhouse, etc. I find this to be in this league. For those wanting more politically correct or new age thinking this is not for you. I find the commentary to follow the evangelical conservative approach. The writing is easy to follow for any level of Bible student, and to profit even the best of Bible teachers. It is written between 1973 and 2001 and offers new insight on bible knowledge because of new archeological, syntax and language findings, yet stays close to the original orthodox beliefs. The idea that GOD is the same yesterday, today and tomorrow is brought to mind when reading this commentary. I know if you hold these beliefs this set will be a worthy blessing to you.
