Discourages Snails
A handful of pellets around a plant stem or plant shoots will repel slugs and snails in the form of a rough,prickly mat.
When moisture is introduced the wool pellets spread into the form of a mat whilst releasing a fertiliser and providing a mulch-ground cover around where they are placed.
I had hoped there would have been more pellets available in the bags as you have to be relatively frugal in their use; especially if you have many seedlings.
Up to now, it seems to be doing it's job.
