Please do not buy, this is nowhere suitable for your pet!
Unfortunately this hamster cage isn’t suitable for hamsters let alone any other animal, hamsters legally need a minimum of 80cmx50cmx50cm internally of floorspace deemed by Wood Greens Animal Sanctuary and Blue Cross, which unfortunately this cage doesn’t provide!
As an animal owner and under the Pets Animal Act 1951 you are legally responsible for making sure your pet has these 3 things:
1. the animals are kept in accommodation that is both suitable and clean
2. that they are supplied with appropriate food and drink
3. are adequately protected from disease and fire
Please research about your animal before you get one, it’s incredibly important especially when they are living breathing organisms. If you are looking into getting rodents (hamsters, gerbils, mice, rats etc) I highly suggest you watch Victoria Raechel, Erin’s Animals and emiology!!!!
