Nils 70s songcraft begins here
I really like the early albums of his solo career but had not gone this far back. I know a couple of songs from back it up the authorised live bootleg but glad i finally delved back a bit further. Very glad I bought this collection. Excellent price

Object lessons in playing and arrangements
2 of 2 found this helpful The lyrics are not always my cup of tea but whatever instrument in the band you are drawn to is often worth the price of admission. Everything has possibly been written about Ritchie but the more I listen to him in rock mode the more I want to. Quite often it is his subtlety as a support instrument that thrills me. That translates so well when he takes the lead. Even there I keep hearing things I had missed.
