Discontinued camera great bargain.....
Even without considering I purchased this camera that retailed for $400 in 2002 for less than $35 including shipping on e-bay, this is a pretty good little camera with all the features I could want as a casual photographer. Besides all the automatic modes, it does have extensive menus to adjust for the amateur's needs. Also takes videos (albeit without sound). The digital memory sticks for this camera are no longer being sold at retail but I found plenty being offered here on e-bay. I'm very satisfied.

I now have had three sets of these...
1 of 2 found this helpful For the money you cannot beat the sound. Howerver caveat emptor. The reason I have gone throug the 2 previous sets is that after a while and not under stressful conditions, they do tend to to break at the fulcrom to the ear cup, on or the other. I got by using duct tape to secure the cup to my head by attaching it from the up to under my chin (go ahead, you can imagine how rediculous that looks,,,but I am that cheap), Once the wire broke, I decided to replace with the same unit and risk it once more.
