Super Mario Bros Wii
If you own a Nintendo, you probably know most everything there is to know about Mario. Although Nintendo tends to overplay the Mario card, creating some real stinkers, this is one to have. If you grew up playing all the old Mario titles, this one is for you. Back to the standard scrolling game with some new features you could never do before. The new game takes advantage of the wii remote to accomplish certain tasks. For example, a shake of the remote during a jump allows for a mid air spin which extends the length of your jump. Or certain platforms will tilt up or down depending on how you're holding the remote. There are new power ups to use in the worlds, notably the propeller suit, which with a shake of the remote allows you to temporarily fly through the air. One very obvious difference with this game is multi-player mode, where up to four people can play the same level at the same time. A first for the side scrolling games. I have not personally used this function very much as my kids are too small, yet. But it should be fun once they get older. Overall, a great title. Get it and enjoy.

Brother HL-2140 Laser Printer
This is my second Brother printer for my small business. A great workhorse laser for anyone that needs to churn out loads of black and white pages in a relatively short period of time without breaking the bank. Consumables come in two parts, the toner cartridge itself and the drum separate, unlike my Samsung and my Lexmark. This is good since the drum will last longer than the toner cartridge. I can usually get about two to three toner changes for one drum. This can save you money on the consumables since it's the drum that tends to cost the most. The only drawback is my old Brother 1440 would let me drain my toner cartridge where this one will totally shut down when the toner gets below a certain level. That's a drag. So if you have a business, make sure you have one in reserve, because it will not let you force a print on a very low toner.

Flushed Away for Nintendo GameCube/Wii
Bought the game after trying it first from the local library. A kiddie version of all those other first person adventure games. One of my kids favorite movies and I thought it would be one they would enjoy playing. It turns out they have more fun watching me play. The levels are easy enough to figure out for anyone who has played this style of game before. However, they are challenging enough to keep you engaged. Gamecube games are getting new life since they can all be played on the Wii. Just make sure you have a Gamecube controller AND a gamecube memory card prior to starting.
