Works Fine But Not Item Pictured
This review is for a FC-114 module which was received, not the pictured JY-MCU unit. The unit works just as well as the JY unit but the setup commands are a bit different and these can be found by a web search on FC-114.
The signal levels are spec'd for 3.3 volt levels and it is usual practice to use a resistive voltage divider on the RX line when connected to a 5 volt system but I have found that this can be connected directly to a 5 volt Arduino without the divider and it works without damage but be aware that this is not recommended.
The unit was tested at 115200 baud using a Class 1 Bluetooth master and communication was reliable out to 10 meters line of sight which is typical of a Class 2 device.
I was not able to confirm that the name setting works but this may be due to the software on my PC not reliably getting the name for Bluetooth devices.
The items works just fine for my application.

Good sound quality but prone to hardware failure.
1 of 2 found this helpful This card was purchased to replace one which had failed. Prior experience with this model card was the main reason for the purchase since it was known that the sound quality was very good and that it would work in my PC.
Though providing excellent sound quality, the hardware could be better. One of these cards failed and a capacitor replacement restored it to working order. Another failed hard and was not repairable. Both failures happened after a few years of use.
In summary, great sound performance but the hardware is not as reliable as expected.

A Strong Mullard 5AR4 Rectifier For Stereo Amplifier
1 of 1 found this helpful This tube replaced a worn out tube in a 1963 vintage H H Scott LK48 amplifier. The tube tested strong for emission and when installed yielded a strong and stable high voltage in the amplifier.. The tube uses an indirectly heated cathode which delays the high voltage for about 20 seconds to allow the other tubes to come to operating temperature before the voltage is applied which reduces stress on these tubes.
Unlike some other replacements which are taller this tube adheres to the original height specifications so it fits properly when the amplifier cabinet is installed.
The tube is an exact replacement for the original tube and fits and works perfectly and the amplifier sounds great.
