* NEEDS TO BE VARNISHED IF USING OUTSIDE *
2 of 2 found this helpful There's no denying that this little door is cute- it's appearance being very 'rustic' & it looked perfect to use on the outdoor wooden dolls 'folly' that I've had fun constructing all summer :-)
It looked brilliant to start with but within a month it basically just fell apart due to rain/damp :-(
I think that the seller should pre-warn people about varnishing the door BEFORE placing it outside. It states in the description that it's 'suitable for outdoor use' but it's really not until you've fully protected it from the elements (& I find YACHT VARNISH from the £ shops to be the best :-)

These are absolutely BEAUTIFUL & can't wait to use them all in my new kitchen! 🤗
Each one you receive has a completely different design/colour- which is exactly what I wanted for maximum variation & to make it look more 'eye-catching'.

The Shining
1 of 1 found this helpful I love the original film starring Jack Nicholson, so I was looking forward to watching this version- I did'nt really know what to expect! Straight away, (having read the book a few years ago,) I saw that this version plays closer to that- rather than the original film. (I'm not really sure if thats a good or bad thing.) Saying that it gave this version a chance to be a bit more visual with the special effects. At times I thought the acting was a bit O.T.T & the film came across sometimes as a bit cheesy. Apart from that I did enjoy it- though not as much as I wanted to!!
