Inexpensive
1 of 1 found this helpful components were fair quality, certainly better than old used components. The large stiff insulating sleeves made it impossible for me to use as wired. I only wanted the components anyway, so I just unsoldered them and rewired using my own wire and some of the wire provided. Worked out great.

Great Vocal mic
I now have several of these! I originally bought this as a replacement for a Sure SM58A hoping it would be marginally better than it's predecessor. I was amazed at how much better it sounded using all the same equipment and the same venue. The only change was the mike. I was able to raise the monitor pressure approx. 20% above previous settings and the lower end frequency's were very pleasantly enhanced. The vocalists were fighting for the Beta such that I was encouraged to replace all the vocal mikes with Betas. So far so good! I love the extra head room the appear to give me, and so far I haven't found a better mike for the price!
