Love this thing, that's why I have 2
1 of 1 found this helpful I'm a huge fan of Ibanez guitars, my hands are relatively small and on my Fender Strat I am uncomfortable reaching all 6 strings in some places. Ibanez Wizard necks such as this guitar has allows me to comfortably reach every position the guitar offers (on my RG-7321 I can use all 7 strings with ease.) The guitar here is beautiful, I hear many complaints about the Edge III tremolo which this has but mine stays in tune (even if it is a full week between plays, with 4 guitars and 2 basses I tend to jump around a bit and sometimes it gets missed since I leave it standard tuned and play more metal than rock.) I use the Trem on rare occasions and it drops right back into the correct position and retuning is a breeze.
If there is one thing that stands out about this guitar for me, it is the sustain. If you don't stop a note it will ring practically forever, I have a certain attraction to the shark-tooth inlay so once again a huge draw for me. For those who gig you will be glad to know that, like all Ibanez RG's, this guitar feels like a featherweight yet can withstand playing for hours on end.
