Best DVD version
2 of 2 found this helpful Kubrick specifically shot his films in fullscreen, so they could be matted in theaters for widescreen and air on TV without cropping. Smart guy - but this has led to confusion on DVD releases of his films, which usually only feature the fullscreen version. However this 2-disc special edition of "The Shining" features the theatrical matted version, enhanced for widescreen TVs and also includes lots of bonus material. Get it!

Great presentation of an 80's classic!
No, it's not "Gone With the Wind" but it's a classic 80's film that's fun to watch. This Blu-ray is the perfect presentation - beautifully mastered picture and sound, loaded with extra features featuring the cast and crew. Shout Factory always delivers the best treatments of these old favorites!

Yes, get it!
It's economical and it works perfectly. I plugged it in to my LG K8V phone and it is charging very fast right now - about 90 minutes for a 100% charge. You cannot beat the price!
