Very decent not-Arcee
Actually quite fond of this figure. I have several not-Arcee figures and ToyWorld's Leia is a welcomed addition. Unfortunately the rear section of the alt mode leaves a bit to be desired, hence the 4 stars, but it's not a deal breaker and when accurately converted to alt mode, Leia's side and front views look nice. Hopefully an upgrade similar to what we see with Generations Arcee and Weijiang Alcee will come along in the near future where an add on piece can be used to fill the rear section of the car and perhaps convert into a shield accessory. The bot mode is where Leia is the most appealing, however, the face does appear dull. With an ultra-fine pink sharpie and a steady hand I added color to her lips and this little bit of color added so much life to the point that I wonder why ToyWorld decided to skip the paint application. Leia comes with 4 pairs of interchangeable hands that aid in offering a range of poses and also comes with 2 sword and 2 pistol accessories. I find the hands are quite snug fitting and suggest a bit of caution to be exercised, at least initially. Leia is not recommended for young children and better suited for collectors aged 16 and over.
Overall, I am glad I was not dissuaded from getting Leia. There are plenty of not-so-great reviews for this figure and a lot of people are waiting to get Fans Toys Rouge, but Rouge's bot mode looks off and to me is overpriced. I urge you to make your own opinion and hope this review helps make your decision. There are several oversea sellers here on Ebay offering a fair price with free shipping, which makes ToyWorld's Leia a great deal.
