It is not 1/4 inch router, it is 6mm router and it is big difference
4 of 4 found this helpful I bought this router knowing that it has 1/4 inch collet. I bought 2 sets of 1/4inch router bits and ...as it show this router doesn't have 1/4inch collet (1/4 inch = 6.35mm) . The router has 6mm collet not 6.35mm. And now it is confusing to get 6mm bits because 6mm is selling as 1/4 inch and 1/4 inch is 6.35mm.
Why Makita or any other brand is producing 6mm collet instead of 6.35 and giving information that it is 1/4 inch. It is not 1/4 inch collet it is 6mm collet.
I am very disappointed.
