Its a good choice to beginners/students or experieced photographers too.
This russian piece is from the Zenit-E line. It's a model with a Selenium cell lightmeter. I have other models from the E-line (E, B, and ET) but the 11 is one of my favourites. Its all black, and equipped with automatic aperture: half pressed shutter - aperture jumps in, full pressed - exposure, untouched shutter release btn - largest aperture to find your target and your focus. It's a very good combination with lens with auto/manual apertrure changing ability. The use of the light-meter is easy so you can shoot perfect metered photos. It has 1/30, 1/60, 1/125, 1/250, 1/500 and Bulb mode for shutter speeds. If you turn the exposure btn knob to the right you can set the aperture on but no shutter pressing when turned. If you want to extend your Bulb mode ability you can turn the exposure btn knob to the left when its fully pressed down. If you 'expoed' enough time you just turn back the knob and the Bulb mode exposure is over.
