nice nostalgia
I enjoyed watching it,though it was made about 12 years ago,and not made for modern screen sizes,which I was aware of before buying,so didn't matter.I live in Notts,and enjoyed seeing the places,some still the same now,some have changed.You couldn't use it as an up to date travel guide,but I enjoyed it for what it is.I kept thinking,I remember going there,I enjoyed watching the dvd for the memories,and it also shows Nottinghamshire as the nice place it is.

The Orhanage, a good creepy film
I have been wanting to see this film, but it is still quite expensive and hard to find in the shops. It is a really good story, of a woman brought up in an orphanage until her adoption,, who decides to return there to set up a childrens home. Her young son goes missing, will she find him, and who are the mysterious chldren and the strange social worker?
The fact that it is in Spanish, with subtitles didn't spoil it,and I don't usually like that type of thing.
The film is very creepy, not too much blood , good old fashioned atmospheric entertainment. All the loose ends are tied up too, you,re not left wondering like some of these films.

great film about a great man
I have liked this film for a long time,having owned it on VHS.I decided it was time to buy the dvd
It is an entertaining account of the life of Michael Collins and a period in Irish history.It has an excellent cast,plenty of well-known actors.Some parts have been changed a little to add more drama to the film,but it is still accurate and a good watch for anyone interested in Irish history.
Liam Neeson is the perfect Michael Collins,the rest of the cast are good choices too for the main characters,Alan Rickman is just like Devalera.
All in all,an intereting film.
