Great vintage BBC

I remember watching this as a kid. Jourdan is wonderfully sexy long before Frank Langella! Fairly accurate to original novel. Great fun for Jourdan fans as well as Dracula!

Pomegranate Edward Gorey 1000 Art Piece Jigsaw Puzzle Size 20 x 27 New Sealed

Great puzzle but missing a piece!

I love Gorey and I love puzzles. Perfect combo? Yes, except there is a puzzle piece missing. It arrived with plastic covering the box and the puzzle pieces in a sealed clear bag. So far, so good. But then I begin putting it together. Ironically, the missing piece is one of the most important pieces! The center cat on the upper curtain. The face of the cat is nowhere to be found. Early on I looked for all the cat pieces and just thought I kept overlooking it. As I got closer and closer to finishing it, I discovered it was no where to be found. What a disappointment not to be able to place that last piece! Still, this is one of the most fun puzzles I’ve ever put together. Parts easy and parts extremely difficult. Still, that final piece! What a cruel joke!

Revisiting childhood!

I watched both movies on TV when I was a child. Palance as Hyde terrified me. The production values are amazingly high when viewed as a cynical adult today. Dracula is especially good with a unusually subtle performance. Nice supporting casts in both films. For devotees of Dan Curtis, great fun!
