A Very Useful Accessory
These clamp on forks are just what I needed. The description is a bit misleading as they are suitable for any tractor ( not just a skid steer tractor, whatever that might be ! ) that is fitted with a conventional front loader bucket. They are well made and robust.

A Good Investment
I wouldn't choose the adjective "amazing". It is well made and does the trick. Yes, it is expensive but the squirrels, both red and grey have destroyed so many conventional feeders, it is a good investment. I am devising a feeder especially for the red squirrels. Unfortunately, my poodle, who claims to be colour blind finds reds equally good sport as greys !

Arrived from Germany remarkably quickly !
Well I haven't had time to properly assess this yet. It arrived by carrier very quickly, was easy to assemble and started, once fuelled up, after only a couple of pulls. The instruction / handbook was a bit basic and gave no information about the lubrication of the gearbox. I removed the grease nipple before starting it and checked that it had already been greased. The consequences of running the gearbox dry would be disastrous so the lack of information about that is a mistake. In the hope that the manufacturers might read this, I would suggest they provide a 2 inch (50mm) auger with the machine as I am sure most people would find it much more useful than the large ones, which I doubt I shall ever use and which I doubt the machine and Myself, as the operator, would manage to cope with in my heavy clay soil. I ordered and paid for a small diameter auger at the time of purchase. An even smaller diameter auger - say 30mm would be handy, for planting tree whips, but that is not apparently available. I have had a similar machine in the past, so I knew what I was looking for. The only criticism I can think of is that the augers are not very robust.
