Beyond economical repair
0 of 2 found this helpful The spares repairs guitar amps are described as an easy fix for someone with knowledge, I bought this amp as a retirement project and to save these things ending up in landfill. This amp had been kept somewhere damp, all exterior and interior metal parts were rusty, the internal fuse had blown, further testing found the amplifier chip had gone, also the primary winding on the transformer was open circuit. The transformer is the most expensive part in an amp, the Frontman15 230v transformer isn't available anywhere, even if it was it cost more than buying a brand new amp, the only other alternative is to buy another 15G spares repairs amp and hope the transformer is ok, but by the time you pay for a second amp you could have bought a decent working or new amp. I would not recommend buying these spares repairs amps, they are beyond economical repair and any parts in them that aren't blown are not worth the money you pay for them, the one I have is only fit for landfill, the opposite of what I wanted to achieve.

Good replacement for the stock parts.
Good replacement front footrests, I prefer these with the rubber grips, these are pretty much the same as the stock parts, these do not come with the spring or any of the fittings though.
