This is the thirty fourth book of Sadako and the Thousand Paper Cranes by Eleanor Coerr I have purchased to give as gifts along with handmade paper cranes made by our ten year old grandson to cancer doctors/friends/teachers, etc.. What a wonderful way to share learning about cancer with folks. This book is my favorite version....The illustrations far surpass all others......Having lived in Japan and working with the people I became familar with the story and fell in love with it.

I read this book on Kindle and wanted to purchase a couple as gifts. This is a very interesting book and heart warming. I have now purchased several copies for my grandchildren and friends to enjoy!
