Perfect travel camera for the serious user.
The only negative is the electronic view finder, it is on the small side but better than nothing. Otherwise a top product, small and compact which was what I wanted with high quality capability and a very good lens. Investing in a book about it is worthwhile as this is a great deal more than a point and shoot camera.
This is for the pro/am more than the absolute beginner, I suspect it's market is the DSLR user who needs a travel camera or one where the less bulk and small size is required, if so that was me and it does this job perfectly.
